Hondo’s taking drum lessons so Katy said he could put the drum kit in his room. I thought it’d be the electronic kit that was there before, but she said the real kit would be best. I’m cool with a real kit in the house, but didn’t think she’d be. I rearranged his bedroom, sliding his dresser into the closet for a maximum drumming environment and then he and Ruby and I cleaned them up with Windex. Everything is sparkling and ready for a heavy beating.
Hondo was anxious to get on and show us what he’s learning and I brought in a guitar and bass and the whole family was rocking in a matter of minutes. Katy surprised me with the bass. She looks great playing it and now I’m her newest fan!!
