After a delicious chalupa dinner at GranMary’s, I enjoyed about 5 hours of painting. I worked mostly on the hulkish self portrait and sharpened up a few details. I repositioned Katy’s arm to accommodate my bigger arm, head and torso. I also turned my face toward the viewer. I painted in a few butterflies that are coming out of my back. I sketched a few black birds, but I’m now thinking that I just want butterflies and none of the other creatures that I originally imagined.
