Montag Morgan and I got together last night to begin work on some songs. This was the first time we worked on these songs, but we video taped it any way. It might not look like it, but we had a very productive evening and it really sounded great! Once we figure out the best arrangement for a live performance, we plan on teaching it to our drummer and the other synthesist.

During the first practices, I used my Powerbook with the original GarageBand file opened to the song we were learning. I solo the drums and other parts in order to play along. I later made a new GarageBand file just for live performances. When I played the synth for a particular song, I could easily find it and based on my performance, it had the potential to sound just like it does on vinyl.
