I have a box of black cardboard\/hardboard that’s kinda like mat board but 5 times thicker, so I thought I’d grab some charcoal pencils and try something. Pixie is a black Cairn Terrier and I happened to have a photo of Katy holding her. Katy was wearing all black so I thought it’d be interesting to leave the black board exposed.<\/h4>\n

The drawing was simple and I like the line. I painted the background and toyed with the idea of filling in the features, but I’m pretty happy with the idea of leaving it featureless. I painted black where there was already black just so the whole surface was painted.<\/h4>\n
