Miles “Beefo” Brady and his family are touring the US and decided to stop in Rio Rancho, NM for a sound check. We set up the Roland TD-5, running it through some distortion to a bass amp, midi out to a synth and then some improvisation by Bob on a couple other synths. Quite an impressive sound. We were up after midnight recording. I’m looking forward to his next tour through town and maybe he’ll consider a residency at the studio!<\/h4>\n

After hanging out with the Brady family the last two days, Giancarlo Rendina’s name came up regularly, so I dug up up a few gems from some tracks he and I wrote as Telephone Booth in 2007-2008.<\/h4>\n
